Well, my instinct tells me that it's similar - if Third Tuesday's purpose is to promote (social) medial literacy, encourage best practices, promote ethical use of social media, and share lessons learned. I've not been to a Third Tuesday, and hope to change that status soon (it'll mean a trip to Vancouver of course). Thanks for your info about the Victoria Social Media Club. I will definitely try to connect. I know a few cities such as Toronto and Vancouver have started Third Tuesday groups – sounds like this might be something similar?

Lately I’ve been a bit quiet, and I’m still not sure I’ll ever get back to doing a.m. meet-ups or tweet-ups either, but I’ll definitely give myself a kick and get out in the p.m. Eight in the morning is just too brutal for me, though!
